Are you exploring your outfits for this Summer? Fashion is ever-changing and keeping up with clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and more can be overwhelming. I always look to fashion editorials and pull away bits and pieces to influence my style. This recent editorial of Daniela Braga photographed by Greg Swales for Numero Russia is full of inspiration.
Riverdale is over for now but you can still get your dose of Archie Comics every week! I haven't read the Jughead The Hunger comicbook series but I have read the Vampironica series and I was able to jump into Jughead The Hunger VS. Vampironica with ease. It's a fun read and I love the Vampironica storyline. Perhaps I should do some kind of video on this series and how I feel about the Archie Comics darker comicbook series in general.
Here's a sneak peek of Jughead The Hunger VS. Vampironica #2
Flash Review: Quick And To The Point.
Slashers are highly beloved in the world of horror. I recently watched Slasher: Solstice, Season 3 on Netflix. Slasher originally debuted on Chiller before it found its new home. If you're into seriously gruesome murder scenes, I'd absolutely give it the time of day. If you're looking for a solid story... it's not the worst. Read my flash review below and find out why.
Ready for your dose of Caulipower?! Cool name guys.
Here's the pizza before I put it in the oven:
Here's after:
My thoughts:
Honestly, I don't plan to give up my NYC pizza anytime soon. With that being said I could see myself including Caulipower Pizza into my regular diet. Cauliflower delivers some amazing nutrients. It's full of antioxidants like vitamin C and manganese, and even has phytonutrients, vitamin K, and omega-3. I could incorporate Caulipower Pizza more often into my daily life than traditional pizza without feeling guilty. I'll save my NYC slices for cheat days being that I try to eat healthy throughout most of the week. This cauliflower pizza tastes good and easily satisfies my pizza craving. Caulipower didn't disappoint. It was very fresh for an oven pizza and you could eat a lot more of this than DiGiorno (still love you) if you're counting calories.
Cook up a storm with some cool accessories & decor in your kitchen! These kitchen accessories make great gifts for yourself, that dedicated friend who's always hosting a party, or your boyfriend who loves to grill. I found all of these items on Alwaysfits.com. No this isn't a sponsored post, I really enjoy their quirky merchandise. It's sassy as hell and packs a lot of attitude in the best way possible. Check it out!!!
I have a profound love of mermaids. They are such beautiful, mystical creatures and I am smitten with mermaid art. I believe they could be absolutely real. Why not? I hope I bump into one at the beach this Summer. Think about it, humans have only managed to explore about 5% of the ocean floor. That leaves endless room for possibilities! This month I stumbled upon #MerMay on Instagram. It's an art challenge where people draw their take on mermaids all month long. May is practically over but it was fun to follow along and appreciate everyones artistic vision. I also enjoyed people mashing mermaid art up with video game and comicbook characters.
This post will be short and sweet yet very needed. I love horror movies. I've always been a fan of Chucky from Child's Play. Growing up, I would also get so excited to watch DC Comics Batman The Animated Series. Today my brother forwarded me an Instagram post saying Mark Hamill would be the voice of Chucky in the new Child's Play movie and I was hype so hype! It's like the best of both worlds have collided.
In two days it will be the first official day of Spring. The weather has already started to feel warm & fresh. Everyone is starting to change what they're wearing along with their attitude. Light jackets are the new black. Spring breathes life into your wardrobe just as much as it does into your spirit. Skirts will reign and love games will take emerge into the air. I hope this Spring brings you balance.
Are you stopping by your local comic book store this week?
Take a turn at Riverdale because Archie Comics is dropping some interesting selections this week. Archie is always falling in love with someone new. Is that a Sabrina cameo I'm spying on the cover art? Mad Doctor Doom looks like he's making a stop at Riverdale High School for a not so friendly visit. And you know you can never go wrong with an Archie Comics Digest featuring our leading ladies Betty & Veronica. I'm sure we'll spot Jughead & Reggie in one of these gems too. Check it these little sneak peeks below.
Warner Bros. has set a release date for their Tom and Jerry movie. It's going to be a live-action, animated film set to hit theaters April 16, 2021. The movie is based on the Hanna Barbera cartoons cartoons that started i the 1940's. Hanna Barbera was also the mastermind behind The Smurf, The Jetsons, and The Flinstones. Personally, I'm still waiting for a new The Jetsons movie.
I remember playing Street Fighter with my brothers growing up and violently hitting all the buttons on the controller when I couldn't figure out the right combo for moves. It's fun being able to mix up my personal style with memories that bring me so much joy.
After much anticipation, Riverdale spinoff and Archie Comics stylish lady Katy Keene has finally been cast! Welcome, Lucy Hale. I used to love watching Lucy Hale when she played Aria Montgomery on Freeform's Pretty Little Liars. I believe this is a great casting decision. Hale has the look, charisma, and style needed to play Katy Keene. I can't wait to watch this Archie Comics style heroine come to life.
Ok, you may have to provide your own margaritas. The NEW Bioré Skincare Blue Agave + Baking Soda Collection looks like something I want to try out. The baking soda in the collection is used to deep clean. I was surprised to learn that the Blue Agave provides conditioning benefits. These 2 ingredients make a kick-ass super team ready to fight against the issues of combination skin sufferers. You'll receive an exfoliating deep clean while still being able to condition those dry patches.
Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa has been bringing all of our favorite Archie Comics to life. We have Riverdale, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and now we're gearing up for Katy Keene.
It's been a while since I've posted about a lipstick, lipgloss, or any lip color in general. People often talk about that one beauty item they can't go without. For some, it's brows, for others mascara, but for me, it's always been lipstick.
Recently I tried out the Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick and was impressed with the quality of this lipstick retailing at only $4.99. I can tell you based off personal experience that for a liquid lipstick that offers 12hour wear, Rimmel London delivers. It doesn't get dry or start flaking off your lips like other brands I've tried tend to do. These lipsticks are perfect for any food outing or even a girls night out. The color truly does stay put.
Purses inspired by food bloggers on Instagram you say? Yes, it's a thing. RommydeBommy is a food inspired handbag collection that is impeccably detailed and sophisticated. Find some of your favorite foods & snacks such as Avocado Toast, Sushi, Pizza, & more in Rommy's collection. These purses are a foodies dream.
I was very impressed when I discovered that the designer of RommydeBommy, Rommy, makes these purses by hand. She is 27 years old and is currently located in the Netherlands.

The new year is a great time to reflect on your life and the company you keep. After binge-watching Netflix's YOU, which initially aired on Lifetime based on the novel written by Caroline Kepnes, I was reminded of how much harm you can cause yourself and your mental health specifically by having a toxic best friend or friends in general. 2019 needs to be about loving ourselves, and that has a lot to do with the company we keep.
Fall is by far my favorite season for TV shows and Movies. It's actually hard to keep up with everything because there is so much! Some years the entertainment isn't that great while other years it's phenomenal. I'm feeling pretty great about this season so far. It's showering me with great entertainment and there's a lot I have to look forward to.
