Yesterday I was out and about on the Las Vegas Strip enjoying the day. The weather is super nice in Vegas and I was in the mood for a very cute, pastel themed outfit. This outfit is the definition of Kawaii for me. Doughnut earrings from Patty's Closet, ice cream cone socks, pastel Boy Meets Girl x Nordstrom shorts with little ruffles on the sides, Cute clear jelly glitter shoes from GoJane and lastly an adorable top from Pac Sun.

Ayer estaba paseando por el Las Vegas Strip disfrutando del día. El clima esta muy agradable en las Vegas y estaba de humor para un conjunto temático muy lindo, pastel. Esta unidad es la definición de Kawaii! para mí. Pendientes donut de Patty's Closet, medias de helado, pantalones cortes Boy Meets Girl x Nordstrom con pequeños volantes a los lados, lindo claro jalea brillo zapatos de GoJane y por último una blusa adorable de Pac Sun.

Kiss, kiss! Here I was hanging out right by the Wynn Casino and Hotel. They have the cutest little water fall by one of the entrances, not to mention it's gorgeous inside.

¡Beso, beso! Aquí andaba directamente por el Casino de Wynn y Hotel. Tienen la pequeña caída acuática más mona por una de las entradas, tambien es magnífico por dentro.

The 90's has a lot of awesome fashion and style that has recently been trending again now-a-days. I often watch shows like Buffy The Vampire Slayer, movies like Clueless, or even animated shows like Daria and think to myself... I love these looks!

The style back then seemed a lot more effortless sometimes and was very accessory driven. Depends what time period we're talking about the looks can be very girly or very grungy or gothic. I put together a How-To: 90's Grunge Look for your entertainment and because quite frankly it rocks.

In this video you'll see what kind of make-up I use and what sorts of hairstyles will make you travel back in time to the 90s! From heavy eyeliner, dark lips, multiple hair clips... Lots of tips!

Los años 90 tenia un montón de moda y estilo que recientemente ha sido tendencia otra vez hoy en día. Yo aveces miro Buffy The Vampire Slayer, películas como Clueless, o incluso animada muestra como Daria y creo que a mí mismo... Me encanta estos looks!

El estilo en aquel entonces parecía que no usaba tanto esfuerzo a veces y era muy accesorio conducido. Just wanted to share a few close details of the outfit I had on yesterday. It was simple yet stylish. It's the details that count. It was sort of a 90s grunge fashion. All black tops, pretty patterned leggings, and lots of hair clips. I focused more on the makeup than I did on my outfit here, using mainly all dark colored products from my eye brow kit, dark lipstick, eye-liner and pencil and so on.

Sólo quería compartir algunos detalles cercanos el conjunto que tenía ayer. Fue sencillo y moda estilo de los 90s. Son los detalles que cuentan. Era una especie de un 90s moda grunge. Las camisas son negras, leggings estampados y un montón de pinzas de pelo. Me centré más en el maquillaje que hice en mi equipo. Use principalmente productos coloreados oscuros todos de mi kit de cejas, lápiz labial oscuro, delineador de ojos y lápiz.

I wanted to quickly share my simple math equation for my main makeup look I will be using all Spring/Summer 2015.

Quería compartir mi ecuación matemática simple para mi look de maquillaje principal que voy a utilizar en primavera/verano de 2015.

Bold Brows + Bold Lips + A Little Eye Liner + A Little Bronzer = My Perfect Look.  

The reason I love this makeup look is because I feel that these tools highlight the best features of our face. Also with so much heat I don't think it's in anyones best interest to over do their makeup because it will probably melt off your face anyway.

La razón que me encanta este look de maquillaje es porque siento que resaltar las mejores características de nuestro rostro. También con tanto calor no creo nadie debe de usar tanto maquillaje porque probablemente derretirá la cara de todos modos.
For your eyebrows I want to recommend Wet N' Wild Cosmetics eyebrow kit. I've been using it for years and it's my favorites. I've tried way more expensive options but always go back to this.

Selena Quintanilla "The Queen of Tejano" was killed 20 years ago today. I still remember how tragic it  was. I remember coming home from elementary school, seeing this on the news and just crying! She was my favorite singer. Not only was she insanely talented with singing and dancing, but she always looked so humble. She seemed like one of those people who was bursting with positivity and who loved life. what happened to her was insanely unfair and it's so sad that her life was cut so short. Till this day everyone still talks about her so much because of the impact she had on her fans.

Selena Quintanilla "La reina del Tejano" fue asesinada hace 20 años. Todavía recuerdo, fue muy trágico. Recuerdo saliendo de mi escuela, viendo las noticias en mi casa y llorando! Ella era mi cantante favorita. No sólo era increíblemente talentosa cantando y bailando, pero siempre se veía tan humilde. Parecía una de esas personas llena de positividad y que amaba la vida. Lo que le sucedió fue tremendamente injusto y es muy triste que su vida se truncó así. Hasta este día todo el mundo todavía habla de ella mucho debido al impacto que tuvo en sus fans.

I always loved her style and fashion sense too. She even opened up her own boutiques which were salon/clothing stores. You can shop and get your nails done. I found this collage online that shows how her style even inspired celebrities from now-a-days like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and more. Selena was a trendsetter.

Siempre me encantó su sentido del estilo y la moda también. Tambien abrió sus propios boutiques que eran tiendas de ropa/salón. Incluso Selena inspiro celebridades de ahora como Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj y mucho más. Selena fue un pionero de la moda.

Para aquellos de ustedes que no saben mucho sobre Selena Quintanilla, deberían mirar la película "Selena" protagonizada por Jennifer Lopez.

I've been indulging the weather change and the chance it's given me to play around with my wardrobe. In Spring/Summer I love to play around with hats. Weather it's for the beach of for my daily outfits they're so much fun.

He estado disfrutando el cambio del tiempo y la oportunidad que me ha dado para jugar con mi vestuario. En primavera/verano me encanta jugar con sombreros. Mi gusta usar mis sombreros para la playa o para mis trajes diarios... son muy divertido.

Hey Nubians,

I HATE snow. Isn't it funny how that can happen? How you can go from being a kid "Yay snow! So much fun! No school! Coolest day ever!" to "WHAT THE F@#K. This sludge is disgusting! How the hell am I going to get over this dirt puddle? I can't wait for the streets to be cleaned better and can we please get some rain in the forecast so this shit could melt!" Ha, oh how times change... I must confess however that I do take some joy the moment the snow is falling... So pretty (Unless it's a blizzard).

Dressing up for days after it's snowed is annoying as hell. I don't like to wear any heels so I usually just stick to rain boots or flat boots. It's nice to do your hair up a bit more since your outfit may be a bit more of the MEH side than usual.


ODIO nieve. ¿No es curioso cómo eso puede suceder? Cuando era un niña me encantaba la nieve y como adulta lo desteto. La nieve se pone sucia tan rapido y es odioso salir. Debo confesar sin embargo, que tomo un poco de alegría el momento en que la nieve está cayendo ... Es suficiente bonita (A menos que sea una tormenta de nieve).

Vestir para días después de que nevó es interesante. No me gusta usar ningún tacón, así es que normalmente uso botas bajitas. Es bueno arreglarse el pelo un poco más elegante por que aveces da pereza vestirse de forma animada en estos días. 






Lastly here I am. Rocking a red turtle neck I purchase at a local boutique and a vintage leather skirt that used to belong to my mother... the boots are Mossimo.

Y por fin aqui esta la ropa que decidi usar este dia. 

After running some errands I purchased a bubble tea and took my arse back home to work and watch some Netflix. The End.
