I am around 39th street in Manhattan very often. I always passed by the Cosmetics Warehouse but never went inside. I finally went inside and they have 40% to 80% off on so much makeup!!

I purchased an Almay intense i-color mascara for $3.99 which I believe is a good deal. Not only is it suppose to bring out my Hazel eyes but it is also lengthening mascara. I tried it on and it works great! I'm very happy with it.

To appreciate my purchase even more I went online to Walgreen's and it's priced for $7.49 you can view it here. That's about $3.50 in savings give or take with the tax. With what you buy one in Walgreen's you can buy about 2 in the Cosmetics Warehouse and maybe give one to a friend as a gift! that's very nice.

Cosmetics Warehouse is located on 250 West 39th Street
New York, NY 10018

Click here to see if theres a location near you.

They also have other great deals on makeup and curling and straightening irons so stop by if you're in the area.

I was watching the season finale of Gossip Girl today since I haven't had a chance to do almost anything lately I finally got around to it.

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) is the Queen of cute headbands besides I think she has great style! During one of the last scenes I saw her wearing a rope headband. It was very cute and I was curious so I googled it and decided to share it with you.

The headband is designed by Jennifer Behr and you can buy it here it retails for $225.00. I also read that Kim Kardashian has been sporting it lately.

As I kept searching on google A designer SewCuteness on Etsy is a Fan of Blair and made a way more affordable version which you can view here for only $22.50! It is not as detailed as Jennifer Behr but if you are looking for a similar version or just a rope headband its a cute style.

So if you like it, now you have an option which you want to buy. Enjoy!

"HOLY CHIC!
BIG DESIGNERS,
BIG SALES,
FRESH STOCK DAILY."

Starting today May 22 through May 27th is the Last week of the "Save Fashion". I passed by yesterday and Unfortunately it was closed but I saw the Mannequins and they were awesome. I really liked the theme, they gave me that rebel/protest kind of vibe. They are very similar to a Stanley Kubrick's "A CLOCKWORK ORANGE" I was able to take a picture but there's even better ones inside.

I went on there site savefashion.com and they had this brief paragraph:
"Save Fashion is a fresh new kind of shop and sale that brings together today's coolest fashion in a space that's inspiring and unexpected. Realizing the tired sample sale and outlet vibe had run its course, we decided to create the Sample Sale of our dreams - a place where all our favorites designers came together in one beautiful space and at prices we could all afford. Save Fashion will debut May 1st in New York at one of the City's most iconic destinations: the Port Authority Bus Terminal. With Save Fashion we hope to restore the pure joy of shopping - at a grassroots level, city to city - reminding consumers and designers alike that fashion is, was, and always will be FUN."

A close friend of mine went and told me there is a very nice selection and everything is off 50% or more. This week they will have the following designers:

Week 4 (Women's)
May 22 - May 27
Alejandro Ingelmo shoes

Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers
Doucette Duvall
Hayden Harnett
Inhabit
Kaia Peterka
Katy Rodriguez
Lauren Moffatt
Lorick
Made Her Think
Organic by John Patrick
Secta
Shipley & Halmos
Staerk
Sue Stemp
Sunshine & Shadow
Tom Scott
Whyred

Hopefully since this is the Last week the prices will go down =). I'm hoping to find the time to go back.

Unfortunately in these times I turn on the news and I'm constantly reminded of the Swine Flu. It is very important to be careful and I wanted to emphasize the importance of that. I have been advised by many people to wash my hands every time i go home and to walk around with a Sanitizer.

I just wanted to throw some information for anyone who needs it about how Bath and Body Works have some great Anti Bacterial Products starting from as low as $1.50. That's definitely a bang for your buck!

I actually own both of these products.

They are both very good and smell great. I actually carry the lotion around with me the most and my girlfriends cant get enough of it.

So visit your local store and take care.

If they are any of you like me out there that just have those days when you are feeling rather tired, and drained but still want to go out looking nice and Chic, there is nothing better than to steal AKA borrow your boyfriends shirt!!

There are many ways you can wear it. I sported this large Armani Exchange woven top below

I gave it a Feminine Touch with the belt. If you see my hair its kind of Messy and I think the look is kind of Grungy which I can always go for. It was fun to wear it with one sleeve down which made it look sexy.

Here's a picture I stumbled upon of Kiera Knightly.
She wore It extremely laid back and didn't give it the feminine touch I tried to give it but I still think it looks great. I have also seen it worn as a mini dress in some cases but its not something I'm very into. Definitely a style You can play with.

So be like me, Look good, Feel Comfy, Look Chic, and steal "borrow" your boyfriends clothing =)

XOXO

Harem Pants, Has been on for Spring 09 and has been said to be carrying on to fall as well. They were on the Spring 09 runways of Alexander McQueen,Chloe and Betsey Johnson.

I cant help but think of these as Hammer Pants honestly I guess because of the generation I was born in?

But truth be told, most of you probably saw them on Princess Jasmine first from the movie Aladdin.

You have also seen them grace the Runways before.

I really LOVE these pants! I think they are so comfy and can be dressed up for a classy look or dressed down for a cool retro look.

I asked a few friends for some personal opinions and some liked the styles while many complained it might not look good for people that aren't thin. I personally think it depends on while style Harem you are looking at because I have seen a few and You will bump into them if you like the style as well.

I like the ones that are really baggy on top because I have seen some that aren't and I think it takes away from the essence of the style.

Here is how I wore mine. Enjoy
Cardigan: Charlotte Russe
Sleeveless Top: H&M
Harem Pants: Forever 21

The New York Times once declared Mary Kate Olsen a fashion icon for popularizing the "homeless" Boho-Chic Look.

Shortly after Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen started a clothing line named "Mary-Kate and Ashley: Real fashion for real girls". This is targeted to girls from ages 4-14 and can be found in Wal Mart. I was never a fan of this line, honestly I thought it was a little dull.

I Actually think I can really get into there higher end Couture line "The Row" named after the famous Savile Row of London.

Ashley Olsen looks great and fierce in this spread she did for V MAN while wearing a brown wig and stripped down to her bra yet not to revealing. I love the message these pictures give out they are hot!!

Ashley partners with her sister on this line but she confesses that she takes care of most of it while her sister still focuses more on acting.

The Row is simple, chic and gives off a Sex And The City vibe to me.

Here are some of Ashley's pictures.

VERY SEXY.

P.S The Row also has a line named after there siblings Elizabeth and James.

Within the last few days I passed by The Body Shop. I haven't been there for some time and I was in the mood for one of there great little lip butters. I have always been a fan of there lip butter because they leave your lips feeling very soft and have a great fruit smell! like real fruit not artificial.

Getting back to the point I was delighted and impressed when I stumbled upon a lip butter that had a different cover "YES YES YES! OUI OUI OUI!". The Body Shop and MTV have come together to Donate to "The Staying Alive Foundation".
I was talking to the sales girl and I asked her if she knew exactly how much was donated from each individual sale. She responded " The lip butter cost $8 dollars and $5 dollars is donating to fighting AIDS AND HIV.

When I walked out the store I really felt like I helped, ANYTHING HELPS. I believe people should help one another in whichever way they can. Every day 3,000 teens get infected with HIV or AIDS. Help raise the immense awareness that so many individuals don't have.
You can be involved just by buying one of these lip butters.

We've all seen the past forecast. All of us in the industry knew that florals and ruffles were going to be big. As a matter of fact, I cant seem to get away from them. I think ruffles have been in for quite some time now and I always find myself unconsciously wearing them.

I'm a big fan of floral print. It goes further than print, The headbands with the flowers on them are adorable as are earrings and rings as well.

This weekend I wasn't able to update my blog much because I was stranded upstate taking care of some personal matters and I do apologize. To quote the great Coco Chanel

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. "

She was absolutely right! Genius. I was walking everywhere and I don't know if its because I went to school for fashion, I saw this trend EVERYWHERE! Its almost like I couldn't get away from it.

I love it though. If you don't own much floral prints, Accessories, or clothing with ruffles, you definitely have to get your hands on them they are HOT and have been hot for quite some time now. I don't think there giving out anytime soon to be frank.

I went to the Palisade Mall where I made a few purchases and I took a picture of some Mannequins at Forever 21 and the Window of BCBG.

FOREVER 21

BCBG Max Azria

This is just two of the many windows I saw following this theme.

I got inspired so I got some floral and ruffles in my outfit today on purpose for once.

Ruffled Top and Floral Ring: Forever 21
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Floral Leggings: Joyce Leslie
Earrings: Jewlery Boutique

Inspirations

While writing this blog entry I just so happened to bump into Charlotte Russe's main page online and this was the photo
They say and I quote "Garden Florals and Vintage Details offer a Romantic Look"
What do you think?

Enjoy XoXo
