You know what I love? The feeling of fashion and comfort. I love cool, edgy flats. Whether they're shoes or sneakers, flats rock! Sometimes people frown upon flats because they don't compliment your body as much as heels and give you the height boost. Well they shouldn't! Flats now-a-days are super edgy and cool. Below read my Dr Seuss-ish type poem haha for my love of flats.

¿Sabes lo que me gusta? El sentimiento de la moda y la comodidad. Me encanta zapatos bajitos cheveres. Si son zapatos o zapatillas de deporte. Muchas veces a las mujeres no les gusta los zapatos bajitos porque no complementan tu cuerpo tanto como los talones y no dan el impulso de altura. Pues no deberían!

Now don't get me twisted, I love a bad ass pair of heels as much as the next chic. But especially for Spring/Summer, my love of flat shoes and sneakers elevates to new levels.

This top from H&M is super cute! The ruffles move in the wind and it kind of gives me a sense of liberation for some reason ha ha. I got a good bargain for it. I was lucky to stop by H&M when they were having a sale and it was only $10. It doesn't hurt that I LOVE polka dots too, classic print.

Call is Cliche but I love wearing green on St. Patrick's Day...

Whether it's hunter green, leaves green, neon green... it just has to be GREEN. It's fun to look cool, stylish and comfortable on St. Patty's Day, especially if you're going to the parade. I've shopped around on the internet and was able to find some cute items I thought you should check out for your St. Patrick's Day beauty and fashion needs. Some cute and out-going items for you to get inspired by/try to channel/get the look. If all else fails remember you can always throw a bunch of green glitter and stickers on your face :)

Hello Nubians,

Early Spring is still so transitional brrrrrr it's still cold! I'll tell you one thing though, when I hear Spring knocking, I automatically want to do all sorts of braids. I NEVER want to braid my hair in the winter for some reason... Is that strange? Anyway, lighter/shorter jackets, different colors, sunglasses, it's good times.


I've been transitioning in my life a bit too lately... Maybe that's why I haven't been blogging as much the last 2 months or so. I've been working on a lot of social media stuff and even though its fun stuff, I'd be lying if I didn't say my brain is feeling like its starting to fry.

Ever want to NOT turn on your computer at all but still find yourself doing it? Sick I tell ya! Sickkk.
  I guess what I'm getting at here is that my inspiration has been sucked a little dry lately... I guess it's like some sort of writers block or motivation block.

A lot has changed for me over the past year. 2012 was kind of crazy and 2013 has been flying by and it freaks me out. I have so much I want to do but those little hands on the clock are KILLER (hate those guys).


Further more, what else can I say? I'm looking forward to shopping for some spring-like clothing soon. I'm feeling like the 90s with a mix of Harujuku girls this season. Makeup wise I've been using all sorts of color as my under eyeliner (especially green and purple because they make my light browns pop) and lets not forget braids! All types of pretty braids.


I'm on my way to work right now writing this blog entry on the notepad on my iPhone which I will later email to myself and copy and paste on to blogger and BOOM, post! Just passed Lexington ave and heading down to Prince st.

Oh, by the way, Did I mention NubiasNonsense is having a small makeover soon?
