Hello Nubians,

Happy Monday My Beautiful Babes!

I made a YouTube video tutorial this weekend showing you how to get a gorgeous, retro, dramatic cat eye. This look was used a lot during the 60's and 70's by ladies such as Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy and more. Also, since glitter has been so popular lately, I decided to add some to this look! Fun stuff. All you'll need for this look is a nice eye liner, a good eye shadow, and some glitter makeup.

I put most of the look together by using the Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Eye-Shadow which comes with both a creme eye-shadow on one side and glitter on the other.

Watch the video below to get the look in a quick and easy manner. Subscribe to my channel too for tons of new content coming soon. Make sure to visit my NubTube.

Cheers!

Hello Nubians,

'Tis important to enjoy the NYC weather before it become brick city! You know, those days when you can throw on a nice oversized sweater and go and not need a million layers on to survive.

I'm not a fan of Winter but I'm a fan or what the transition to the season brings out in me. Lately for some reason I've been burning a lot of candles... eucalyptus, gingerbread, cinnamon, peppermint, so many delicious smells! I've also been drinking a lot of matcha green tea which I might make a post about later. This traditional green tea has great health benefits.

'Es importante disfrutar el clima de Nueva York antes de que se convierta en la ciudad del ladrillo! (super frío!) Ya sabes, esos días en que usted puedes ponerte un bonito suéter de gran tamaño y no necesita un millón de capas para sobrevivir.

No soy un fan de invierno, pero soy un fan de la transición a la temporada. Últimamente, por alguna razón he estado quemando un montón de velas ... eucalipto, jengibre, canela, menta, tantos olores deliciosos! También he estado bebiendo mucho té verde matcha. Este té verde tradicional tiene grandes beneficios para la salud.

On this day I decided to wear boot cut jeans. combat boots with a heel and a nice oversized sweater. The jeans were a bit loose purposely because I felt like wearing something comfortable and not too fitted. I through on the red hat last to kind of make the outfit pop.

Wearing: Levis Jeans, H&M sweater, combat boots, Vintage purse, H&M hat.

Makeup: Wearing Wet 'n Wild brow kit, Revlon Matte -“Really Red", Victoria's Secret St Barts bronzer, Sephora Outrageous volume mascara.

Hope you're all enjoying your transition into Winter too and getting ready for Thanksgiving next week, gobble gobble. Cheers!

Espero que todos están disfrutando de su transición al invierno también y preparándose para la próxima semana para acción de gracias (el dia del pavo.) ¡Salud!

Hello My Beautiful Nubians!

A few weeks ago I walked into a drugstore and purchased 2 Revlon "Just Bitten Kissable" Balm Stains. I fell IN LOVE with them and felt the need to share my experience with you. I have tried other lipstains before but wasn't fully satisfied with their long term wear.

Color: Adore Adoree 055
I was looking for a medium toned color. Dark, but not quite there yet. This has become one of my favorite colors to wear. It compliments my skin tone and last a hours without retouching. Even when I don't retouch the color never fully fades it just gets a bit lighter... I like the thought of feeling like I never have a naked lip.

Color: Crush Beguin 005
Dark and seductive, I've definitely been rocking this color when I feel a bit feisty... it's SEXY. A great color to add to your makeup collection for winter and its durable. The pigmentation is lovely.

Reasons you may want to try this product:
  • Unlike a lot of lipstains which are usually drying, this is a balm stain which is excellent for "Winter dry lips". It keeps my lips pretty and moisturized.
  • The tip on the balm stain reminds me of a Crayola! You can check it out HERE. I find it easier to apply this way.
  • They have 12 pretty shades available at only $8.99
  • The pigmentation is good.
  • The balms are retractable, goodbye sharpener!
  • I wouldn't recommend something I didn't really enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed this review and let me know if you end up trying any of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains out!
