Transitional Style

by - 11:28 PM

Any one that's living in NYC can clearly tell that summer is over. It's still a bit warm, but it's been getting quite chilly. This is how I do transition.

Long trenches can do wonders in your wardrobe and pretty much kick any casual outfit up a few levels in class. I mean seriously, if I closed the trench and was naked under here you probably wouldn't know and it would look fabulous. I'm definitely a fan of a nice long trench. This puppy I'm wearing was a score from a vintage shop. I fancy the shoulders.

A trend a noticed coming down the SS 12 runways in many shows was the waist defining sihoulettes. You might have noticed it in shows such as Cynthia Rowley, The Row, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung and more. Nothing like some 1940's glam to get me excited. I figure I would jump on the small waist game starting now... I've been meaning to for sometime.

Wearing: Vintage trench, H&M leopard dress, Naughty Monkey shoes

How are you adjusting to the transition?

  1. You look so hot. The trench is so classic, you were smart to buy it. Also I love the pin up curl in the front of your bangs.
