New Year Nails

Hey Dolls!

New Years is basically here and we all want to look at our best. I went to my local Duane Reade yesterday and saw this fun nail glitter. I decided to try it out being that I barely ever do anything TOO crazy with my nails but I think I'll explore my options this New Year!

Below Please see the steps I took and you should totally try it out. It's super easy, fast, they have different colors, and it looks really cute. The pictures don't do it Justice. Enjoy!

This is Nail Glitter Art: Tropical Teal and Sally Hansens: Sumptuous Petal
Step One: I do this one finger at a time. The first thing you are going to do is paint your nail with the polish. (Something I learned after doing this, is that you should do this on top of some sort of paper to avoid a mess with the glitter)
Step Two: You are going to proceed to dip your finger in the glitter. Dip it until it covers you full nail and then slightly tap your finger when you take it out.
Step Three: You are going to see that your finger is covered in glitter out of the nail a little bit, But you can clean it up later on.
Step Four: After you let it sit for about 2 minutes put a coat on top of the glitter to lock it in. You can wait till you do all your fingers to apply the second coat but I rather do it right then and there.
Step Five: Repeat these steps for all of your finger nails.

After you're done you are going to let it set in for about 20 minutes. You can proceed to run cold water over your fingers for a while and try to get the glitter off of your hands.

Like I said, the pictures don't do them much justice. They are not like regular glitter polish, they pop up and have a really cool texture to them.

You can also do french tips with the glitter if your nails are glam enough.

Fun and glitzy nails to bring in a marvelous NEW YEAR!
