These great hot pink lace gloves I purchased at Forever 21. I Love Lace Gloves.

I'm planning to incorporate them into my Decora girl outfit this Saturday at the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Earth Month Is Awesome! I love that everyone is getting into treating our enviroment with care. Things should have been this way many years ago. If your Not involved, you really should look for a way to be.

I went to Duane Reade last night to buy some baked chips and tea, and ended up leaving with a bronzer. The bronzer is organic. It's by "Jane BE PURE agua CEUTICALS glow bronzer"

If you look at this picture you can see that even the case is made out of recycled cardboard. I love these kind of bronzers because you get to play with all the different tones and mix them. This specific bronzer is not exaggerated and leaves a very nice glow.

I am attending a Festival with my friend soon. Me and her were planning to put some "Cosplay" into action.

For those who don't know what Cosplay is, its short for Costume Role play. Its actually considered a type of performance art where people dress themselves according to a certain character or idea. The characters usually come from manga, anime, comic books, graphic novels, sci-fi movies and others.

I think we're channeling anime school girls or some Harujaku Decora girl fashion.

My friend was nice enough to send these collages she made for some ideas. Take a look, I think I'm leaning toward the Decora girl. I'll will keep you posted. I am very excited!

Saturday night I went out with a few friends. The original plan was to visit a "Strata" Nightclub. I had heard prior to visiting the club that it was fun and had a good atmosphere along with 2 rooms.

WELL, to my unfortunate surprise the club was NOT to my liking. To start off, as I walked in I was informed one of the rooms was closed. Then the music didn't impress me at all. I was probably groped at least twice and all of this happened in probably less then 10 minutes. While we were leaving one of my friends suggested getting stamped in case someone wanted to go back but the bouncer would not let us leave for 10 minutes and come back it was ridiculous! They probably made more then 120 dollars off entrance and did not even let us step out for 10 minutes. The bouncer was rude and mean. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Whats up with bouncers thinking they have so much power anyway? Can someone enlighten me?

After we Left we went to "Duvet". A lot of the music was kind of old but it was enjoyable. The club in general was way nicer inside and the crowd was decent. It was overall just a better vibe. I would recommend it.

The weather was so nice I decided to show some legs! I had been wearing leggings and stocking a lot lately but I felt so inspired.

To make your lip gloss last longer, apply it with your finger instead of the applicator. This works because as you may notice your lips have fine lines. By applying with the applicator you are simply just going over the lines. When you use your finger, make sure to press it into your lips which makes the gloss seep into the fine lines therefore staying longer.

Another handy tip if you wear colored lip gloss especially,is to place a single finger in your mouth and slide it out. This will remove any color that has the possibility of getting on your teeth.

I had a nice weekend. For the first time it really felt like Spring! I was so excited, I just felt like jumping off walls and doing Cartwheels!

Went to Union Square Saturday morning. The art, live music, fresh food, independent designers,Just the whole vibe in general! I once considered it home away from home.

Did some light shopping in Forever 21. I recommend Union Square's Forever 21 personally, its always been one of my favorites. After I purchased a skirt and a dress, I decided to pay homage to Earth Month by buying there Eco-friendly tote instead of using a plastic bag and proceeded to exit with my goodies.

Last night I was staring at my nails that were looking chipped and horrible! I work with buyers and constantly have to be grabbing things and showing samples which obviously shows my nails a lot. I went downstairs to Duane Reade because its the closest store that has nail polish to me and I had a red in mind.

While browsing through the isles, I realized I only had like 4 bucks in my pocket which leaves me with not so many options. I went to the Wet n Wild section to discover a bright red "Red Red/Rouge Rouge" to be exact and to my Surprise, it was KISS OF APPROVAL Award winner by Cosmo Girl. After seeing that I felt I had to get it and it was only a dollar. This morning when I came into the showroom I quickly did my nails and was very pleased.



That's a bang for my buck!

I am excited for Marvel Divas! This series is said to be like a cross between Sex and the City and Marvel. I wonder if there going to wearing high end designer shoes =) and to die for outfits. Yes, no, Maybe?

As you can see from my last post on Friday (Sorry :-( I haven't gotten around to fixing my Internet problem at home) I really wanted to get a pair of boyfriend jeans. I looked around but honestly wasn't satisfied. Having a boyfriend that is 6'3, and me being 5'5 you can see my problem and why I can't just take a pair of his.

Yesterday I had to do laundry and I didn't have anything to wear downstairs. Inspired by my last post I looked through my closet and found an old baggy pair of Guess Jeans overalls. This was just a quick and easy Do it yourself project.



I just measured with my eye a spot to start cutting, If you want to get technical you can always measure but I didn't have time for all of that my laundry load was looking heavy. You want to be careful with the back to not cut it too short.

Once I was done I tried them on and they fit fine, So I was Happy. I then proceeded to make to small slits. One slit was by the right pocket and one was by my left knee. I grabbed a cheese grader and rubbed it against the slits to make them look a little distressed and that was it!

I decided to add the silver belt for a feminine touch and I Accessorized with this Unzipped gla.MAR.ous Zipper headband.


Unlike most boyfriend Jeans I've seen I didn't roll the bottoms up, but I probably will next time I wear them with some nice strappy flat sandals maybe?

I def want to get a pair of Boyfriend Jeans!! I've read in magazines and blogs there in for "Jeans 2009". I've been wanting to go get a pair for a while but I've been kind of lazy. I am determined this weekend.

Boyfriend Jeans don't necessarily have to be your boyfriends jeans, but just loose fitting jeans. I think they only look good boot cut but not everyone agrees. They don't have to be a new pair, if you actually fit in a pair of your boyfriends vintage jeans that would be awesome and flip them up.

One thing I will definitely do is wear them with a fitted tee because I don't want to look to manly. I will keep you posted =)

Do you ever feel like you've been wearing a shirt for about an hour or two and it leaves a certain scent? Not necessarily a bad scent but a distinct scent.

OR

Do you ever feel like your perfume isn't working properly? or you feel it doesn't last as long as it should?

This can all be due to the deodorant your using. This actually goes out to both male and female.

SCENTED VS UNSCENTED

Actual facts show that deodorants clash with the smell of perfume. I was talking to my friend about this and we both prefer unscented deodorants. As you may know when you buy a scented deodorant, they usually come in smells such as "Fresh Mountain scent" or "Summers Breeze"

I know I love my Betsey Johnson and Moschino perfume and I would hate for a $8 dollar deodorant to take away from it.

You also have the issue with laundry. Many times I wear a shirt for only a few hours and I really shouldn't have to throw it in the laundry but I do anyway because of scented deodorant.

In my personal opinion UNSCENTED ALL THE WAY! It can really make a small but surely noticeable difference in your everyday life.
